(L-R) Jan Jenssen of Brubakken and Jens Jensen of Høydespesialisten

Norwegian rental company Høydespesialisten has taken delivery of a Versalift VTX-240 and a Ruthmann Steiger TBR 220 from TIME Danmark. Both access platforms have been installed on Nissan Cabstar chassis and coated in the characteristic blue colours of the Oslo based company.

Jan Jenssen from TIME Danmarks Norwegian distributor Brubakken handed over the keys to Jens Jensen from Høydespesialisten in Oslo making Høydespesialisten in possession of the very first Versalift VTX-240 on Norwegian soil.

Having a maximum working height of 24.2 and 20.2 metres and an outreach of 12.5 and 16.4 metres, the two access platform vehicles are a great supplement to each other. The Versalift VTX-240 is capable of reaching challenging elevated worksites most access platforms are unable to reach. The innovative boom design with two 3 stage telescopic booms allows the lift to reach up and over flat rooftops and can even grant the operator access to worksites located below ground level. The Ruthmann Steiger TBR 220 has a more conventional boom design with a 4 stage telescopic main boom and a 185° flyboom/jib making it suitable for a wide array of challenges. Both access platform vehicles feature advanced full proportional electro-hydraulic control systems with automated lift setup and packing programs – and they are both available for operators with a class B driver’s licence. The Versalift VTX-240 can level the vehicle up from a sideways slope of up to 3° while the Ruthmann Steiger TBR 220 can manage a 5° slope.
