Time Manufacturing/Versalift has completed a new series of acquisitions as part of a major expansion strategy, which also includes the recent acquisition of the US bridge inspection manufacturer Aspen Aerials.

O.G. Hughes & Sons and MAP Enterprises were acquired in deals that establish strong regional coverage for the company in the Southeastern United States. As wholly-owned distributor, a new business unit called “Versalift Southeast” has been formed. Currently, the wholly-owned aerial lift distributor has a staff of 44 people, including sales, service, parts and administration professionals. This staff is spread out across the distributor’s three facilities, which are located in Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. Each facility features work-bays for upfitting, assembly and maintenance, paint and body repair facilities, parts warehousing and dielectric testing.

Global Expansion

Time Manufacturing/Versalift’s expansion strategy has led to the acquisition of a number of strategic partners, distributors and manufacturers in North America. The company’s global export division, TIME International, is very active in delivering Versalift high-reach access equipment to markets outside of the United States. “Versalift high-reach equipment is very well received in European, African and Asian markets,” says Per Cæsar Torp, Director of Sales and Strategic Planning at TIME International.”We continue to execute our global expansion strategy.”

By diversifying its already broad line of equipment offerings, Time Manufacturing/Versalift continues to extend its culture of safety, innovation, and superior manufacturing processes to continue serving our customers around the world.
