Danish platform retailer TIME Danmark is expanding its range of access platforms for rental with the full portfolio of products from Canadian SKYJACK. SKYJACK produces self-propelled vertical mast, scissor and boom lifts for construction and TIME Danmark is set to sell, support and service all SKYJACK products on the Danish market. TIME Danmark has also been appointed the new Nordic retailer of self-propelled scissor lifts on tracked undercarriages by Italian ALMAC.

TIME Danmark strengthens its position on the market for access platforms for the rental industry with the strategic agreement with SKYJACK. The vertical mast, scissor and boom lifts of SKYJACK is characterized by unsurpassed quality and reliability and provides safe access to more than 20 metres of working height for construction purposes for both indoor and outdoor use. The products fill a gap in the product line-up of TIME Danmark enabling the company to meet more needs of rental companies in the future.

“SKYJACK is a good fit for our rental line-up. It is a solid company with high quality products with superior user safety – and the self-propelled machines meet some of the needs our other products cannot meet,” says Per C. Torp, CEO of TIME Danmark.

The product expansion also entails Italian ALMAC. TIME Danmark is set to sell, support and service self-propelled scissor lifts on tracked undercarriages by Italian ALMAC capable of reaching working heights of up to 6.30 metres. The tracked carrier is gentler towards the surface than wheels as the tracks cover a larger surface area and therefore distributes force on a greater area. The scissor lifts of ALMAC are suitable for professional gardening, construction and building maintenance – and useful for both indoor and outdoor use.

TIME Danmark already retails vehicle mounted access platforms on trucks and vans from its own brand Versalift and from German Ruthmann – as well as spider lifts on belt carriages from Italian Hinowa.

Traditionally, Versalift almost exclusively focused on the market of streetlight maintenance and other tasks of energy corporations. But as the market moves towards lightweight vehicles so is Versalift starting to introduce rental friendly vehicles accessible to operators with a regular driver’s license. Earlier this year, TIME introduced the innovative 3,5 tonne Versalift VTX-240 with two 3-stage telescopic booms mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with a working height of 24 metres and the most advanced electrohydraulic control system on the market.
